Huge garden are being created in “Qizil tog‘”

Nowadays over the whole world as a result of climate change the need of stabilize the ecological environment is coming into being. Therefore, one of the main directions of nearly decade — no doubt it’s protecting environment.

In the meaning, extensive measures aimed to reduce the negative impact on the environment, saving and restoring natural ecosystem, are being held in our country as well. In November, 2021 “Green space” nationwide project which has begun in the initiative of our President also showed clear example that “green” way has raised to the level of state policy.

Since then, autumn and spring tree planting seasons have been announced every year, and thousands of saplings are being planted as part of the campaign. Greening of environment, planting fruit and decorative trees, increasing gardens and green areas in Uzbekistan are being carried out rapidly. As a result, green gardens, public parks and pavements have been established in the past short period of time. In general, the attitude of the authorities towards the tree has changed.

Certainly, rich experience of the people in the field of horticulture is being relied upon in the implementation of these works. The republican headquarters was created and included the heads of the Academy of Sciences, Institutes of soil science and forestry. They determine type of seedlings based on soil analysis and climatic conditions.

The unique nature of the “Qizil tog‘” area of residential place, located in the Parkent town of the Tashkent region, has attracted foreign and local tourists from the beginning. Now the number of visitors coming here is expected to increase. Because of this, the Ministry of defense of Uzbekistan started movement of planting a huge garden in 2021, planting various fruit and decorative trees on 500 hectares of neglected land in the area. This process is currently in full swing. It’s also worth noting that seedlings are cared for on the basis of full drip irrigation technology.

For information, since 2021, more than 500 000 fruit and ornamental trees have been planted in the area. At present seedling retention rate is high. Current year, it’s planned that taking first harvest from the almond seedlings.
