As we informed before, in aim of supporting women military personnel overall, increasing their place in the military teams, supplying their active participation in dairy service, the republican contest “Followers of Tomaris — 2023” under the slogan “Vatan mehri yuragimda” (Love of the Motherland is in my heart) was held among the women military personnel who are serving in the force systems of Armed Forces in days of 19-20th October.
Team of the Ministry of defense have attended actively and reached first place in it. Finally awarding ceremony was held festively at the active hall of the Military medical academy under the Ministry of defense on the occasion Defenders of the Motherland Day. Deputy minister of defense on ideology and educational affairs, general-major Hamdam Karshiyev, military personnel, Armed Forces servicemen and representatives of other state and public organizations.
Deputy minister who made a speech at the event honored women who are serving in all sphere actively, as well as, in the military field. He mentioned particularly knowledge, patience, qualification and courage in them and expressed success to their future service.
After all, 13 winners of the republican contest “Followers of Tomaris — 2023” were awarded in the event. Diploma and valuable gifts of the minister of defense were presented to them.
In addition, badges of the “Excellent of the spiritual-educational affairs” were handed over on this day to the military personnel, Armed Forces servicemen and representatives of the public organizations who have contributed to the fruitfulness of the spiritual-educational works.
