Nowadays on the occasion of 14th January — Day of the Defenders of Motherland various spiritual-educational events, sport competitions, military-patriotically festivals are being held through Uzbekistan. Main aim of holding such events strengthening people and army togetherness, as well as, inform public with the measures which are being carried out in the Armed Forces system.
Today, on January 9, at the Armed Forces academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the representatives of mass media press-tour was established under the slogan “Army of New Uzbekistan — country power, high pride and loyalty!” for introducing them closely with work and education process, and conditions of the academy, in cooperation of Ministry of defense, Armed Forces academy, Union of journalists of Uzbekistan and military-patriotically council under the union.
At first attenders of press-tour were welcomed under the musical and demonstrative performances of the military orchestra and honor guard, hand-to-hand combat of the platoon detachment, and video dedicated to the history, modern conditions which were created for the cadets of the academy were presented.
After that excursion has started through the academy. Representatives of the mass media got acquainted with exhibits at the museum of the academy, conditions which were established at the information resource center, comforts at the dormitory of the cadets, thematic classes “Amir Temur”, “Zahiriddin Muhammad Bobur”, “Jaloliddin Manguberdi” and “Psychological training center”, as well as, conditions at the sport complex.
In addition, journalist and bloggers attended in the military and armored training exercises of the cadets, and they witnessed to their driving military vehicles. Also, they competed mutual on the “PKST-2” trainer. According to the results of the competition winner and prize-winners were awarded with the diploma and commemorative gifts by the organizers.
At the end of the press-tour responsible representatives of the press service of the Ministry of defense and Armed Forces academy answered full to the journalists’ questions.
