In the area of the “Nukus” general troops training field with the initiative of the North-Westerns military district command during the several days demonstrative night-time training was held. Current demonstrative training session has begun with the scientific-practical conference, which has focused on the issues of conducting military operations in desert areas, organizing the deployment of troops in unfamiliar areas and all-round support. Specific aspects of readiness for military operations in desert conditions were studied, and the special military operations in desert areas of the armed conflicts taking place in the world were deeply analyzed in it.
At the event commander of the North-Western military district, general-major Farhodjon Shermatov, as well as, military personnel of the district, professors and teachers of higher military educational institutions under the Ministry of defense of Uzbekistan, representatives of the force system of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region attended.
Training points organized for the demonstrative exercise, the participants got acquainted with the assembly area of the motorized rifle battalion equipped on a wide area based on engineering requirements using natural and artificial means in desert conditions. Placement of personnel and equipment, management of all types of supply issues, storage of ammunition and weapons, organization of camouflage in accordance with the area, creation of food reserves, provision of equipment with fuel and lubricants, medical assistance to military personnel and cooking in field conditions. The area covering training and other issues demonstrably showed that the military unit can easily settle and continue its activities in an unfamiliar area, far from its permanent location.
During the training attenders got acquainted with the issues of preparing meal in field conditions, clothing workshop, bathroom complex, equipment of warehouses, organizing of technical support, and at the same time area of mass fueling of 20 vehicles in field conditions.
