In Nukus garrison a garden was created in 3 hectares area

In the military town of Nukus garrison 1000 apple trees were planted on 3 hectares land that had been neglected for years.

The command of the North-West military district and the military personnel of the garrison took part actively in this nationwide event “Green space” which was held under the slogan “Green space” is our commitment to the future generation!”

Particularly, 50 000 willows will be planted in the Republic of Karakalpakstan in 2024 by the North-Western military district command, which aims to improve the areas, plant saplings in unused areas, most importantly, mitigate the negative consequences of climate change in the over Aral regions. Poplar cuttings, more than 10 000 fruit trees and more than 5 000 ornamental trees were planted.

In order to plant saplings, it is important to plant more trees that are adaptable to the weather and external environment of the northern regions of Uzbekistan, have been able to grow for years and show viability, and can give life to sandy and salty lands. The main focus is on the creation of parks on vacant land, their productive use and landscaping.

In landscaping process two thousand cubic meters of soil mixture with special tools, is being used to plant seedlings on unproductive and sandy lands. Necessary infrastructures have been organized for watering seedlings and special equipment is being used as well.
