In Urganch city at the military-academically lyceum named after Jaloliddin Manguberdi under the Ministry of defense literary meeting was held on topic “National spirit and pride weapon of youths”, in participation of state and public figures, literary creators, masters of art, historian scientists and generals.
Before the event guests and pupils visited to the memorial park of Jaloliddin Manguberdi which was located in the center of city. As you know, at the center of the park Jaloliddin Manguberdi’s statue which was described holding tightly the reins of the horse, ready to defend the country, is a symbol of patriotism of the people and indomitable will. After putting branch of flower to the feet of Sultan Jaloliddin Manguberdi’s statue, guests visited to the main address — to the academical lyceum named after commander’s name.
On the initiative of our President, in 2023, in the city of Urganch, the center of Khorezm region, a military academic high school named after Jaloliddin Manguberdi, which serves to honor the name of our ancestor who fought for the independence of the country and devoted his life to it, and serves to educate the young generation in the spirit of military and patriotism, began its work.
Current spiritual-educational event has begun with trip to the lyceum. Teaching by the modern educating methods, science, communication technologies, laboratories, as well as, doing inventive works, with a word, this educational place is a breathtaking place for the previous generation representatives. All modern study opportunities suitable to the world standards, were established here.
Advisor of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Hayriddin Sultanov mentioned in his speech that our compatriots, initially, the people of Khorezm, the youth of the oasis, know the valuable life and works of Jaloliddin Manguberdi through historical sources, scientific and artistic works, TV series, songs, courage, strong faith, as well as, talked about exemplary life path of this great ancestor, who has no equal in terms of nobility, patriotism and honor.
Deputy minister of defense for Educational and ideological affairs, General-major Hamdam Karshiyev, Head of the Republican spirituality and enlightenment center Otabek Hasanov, People’s poet of Uzbekistan Mahmud Toir, editor-in-chief of the “Ma’naviy hayot” magazine, Honored personnel of culture of Uzbekistan, poet Eshkobil Shukurov, film director Hilal Nasimov, poets Zulfiya Mominova and Gavhar Ibodullayeva took part in the event and in their speech called on youths to be selfless for the development of the Motherland and well-being of people, to respond to such modern conditions and the care provided by government with exemplary behavior and great achievements in educational processes.
At the end of the event books collection which were published in the column of “Present to brave soldier”, were handed over for the fond of lyceum. In response to this, pupils also performed various poems of well-known poets and pleased the hearts.
