In the 19th World Muay Thai Championship which was held in Bangkok the national selected team of Uzbekistan also successfully attended.
A member of the national selected team, a soldier of the military unit under the jurisdiction of the South-Western special military district, a private soldier under contract Abubakr Boltaboyev reached championship in his weight category and returned to Uzbekistan with victory.
In this regard festive receiving ceremony was held at the Termiz railway station. The champion was greeted with solemnity by the responsible officers of the district, military personnel and youths in the event.
For information, about 600 athletes from 32 countries of the world competed for the victory in their weight categories in this prestigious tournament, which started in Thailand on March 14 this year.
