On the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan a science Olympiad on theme “Jaloliddin izdoshlari — Vatanimiz posbonlari” (Followers of Jaloliddin Manguberdi — defenders of the Motherland) was held among the 9th class pupils of all secondary schools in the region at the military-academic lyceum named after Jaloliddin Manguberdi, located in Khorezm region.
Current competition was held in physics and mathematics, and about 276 pupils from all sciences attended in it. All the participants in this competition, which were assessed openly by the members of the jury consisting of teachers of Urganch state university, used all their strength and capabilities toward of the victory.
According to the final results of the competing which was held in two stages, a pupil of the innovative physics-mathematical educational institution “Tulkin” of Hazorasp district Bunyodbek Iskanderov won the 3rd place, a specialized boarding school pupil of the Shovot Shohruzbek Bobojonov took 2nd place, and a pupil of the Tuproqkala specialized boarding school of the Tuproqkala district Hamidjon Eshchanov took the 1st place. A pupil of the specialized boarding school of Shovot district Sirojbek Rahimov won the 3rd place, a pupil of the 30th school of the Gurlan district Maftuna Alimboyeva the 2nd place, and a pupil of the 45th secondary school of the Urganch district Rahimboy Vaisboyev reached the 1st place in physics.
At the end of the event, participants who successfully attended in the competitions and won, were awarded with the diplomas and gifts by the directorate of the educational institution. Such kind of science competitions are planned to be held by the school management among the youth of other regions.
