One more interesting competition has finished in the Veterans’ premier league on football, which was aimed to pretend healthy life-time, improving mass sport, making attract veterans to sport.
“Special Operations Forces Veterans Cup 2023” competition which was organized in honor of the guys of the Special operations forces who has died in the path of piece of the Motherland has started in 12th November of current year. Final stage of the Veterans’ premier league was held at the Children and teen’s sport school in Mirobod district.
In this competition adviser of the minister — head of the central directorate on the Veterans affairs council of the Ministry of defense, retired lieutenant-colonel Abubakir Navrozov, representatives of the Ministry of the Youth policy and sport, retired military personnel and young people took part.
Championship was held in two directions: “Golden play-off” and “Silver play-off”. “Aviator” team of Tashkent city was a winner at the “Silver play-off”. At the “Golden play-off” “Intersport” team reached victory.
Winners of the competition were awarded according to the different nominations with medals, cup and commemorative gifts.
For information, Veterans’ premier league of the Republic of Uzbekistan was established in the 15th May, 2022 by the central directorate on the Veterans affairs council of the Ministry of defense, union of fighter-veterans of Uzbekistan “Veteran” and veterans council of the Football federation of Uzbekistan.
