Nowadays according to the climate of the regions, ornamental and fruit trees are being planted by the military personnel of all military units under the Command of the classified objects protection troops of the Ministry of defense of Uzbekistan within the framework of the nationwide project “Green space”.
Up to date, military personnel have planted more than 150 000 ornamental and fruit trees, taking into account the weather conditions and the climate of the local area, and taking care of the existing ones.
All stratum of the population, especially veterans and youths, actively attend in the implementation of the national project “Green space” together with the military services.
In the military units located in remote desert and mountain areas of the republic, trees and decorative flowers are regularly planted in gardens created by military personnel.
The beautification and greening the central streets of cities, educational institutions which are attached to military units, and military towns are being intensively continued cooperatively with partner organizations.
