At the Military institute of information and communication technologies and communications of the Ministry of defense spiritual and educational event was organized under the motto “Muqaddasdir Vatan bayrog‘i” ”(The flag of the Motherland is sacred). The personnel of the military educational institution, students and youths took part in it.
Guests who made a speech at the event gave information about the history of the creation and adoption of the flag of Uzbekistan. For information, it has been 32 years since the adoption of the Law on the State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan, approved at the special VII session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on November 18, 1991. In the meaning, the national flag is a symbol of the state sovereignty of the country.
— Our flag embodies the centuries-old dreams, wishes and power of the entire people of Uzbekistan, as well as, hospitality characteristic of people, — said lieutenant-colonel Fayzulla Shermatov. — Swinging of our national flag on the facades of state offices and institutions, educational institutions, international organizations of which Uzbekistan is a member, embassies and permanent representative offices abroad, the honor of our Motherland at various holidays and celebrations, at international political, cultural and educational events attended by representatives of our country, at prestigious sport competitions as well. In the meaning, reflecting the pride of our people makes us all proud.
At the end of the event, the cultural program which was performed by the “Impuls” military ensemble cheered up the participants of the event.
