For military personnel who expressed a desire to serve in the airborne detachments of the Ministry of defense of Uzbekistan selection tests were held in the Tashkent military district.
During qualifying process which lasted for five days defenders of the country bravely overcame various difficult obstacles. Firstly, they were tested in-depth medical examination, logical thinking and psychological stability of military personnel found fit were determined through test questions in the military-professional selection. Then general physical fitness was tested as well, such as running 100 meters, 5 kilometers and pulling on a horizontal bar.
Candidates successfully completed the standard of passing through the obstacle course of physical stress. Guys who overcame the special obstacles at this stage ran for a distance of 15 kilometers. Candidates who protected themselves from blows in the boxing ring during the set time and proved to be a worthy opponent for the winners also excelled in the knife throwing exercise.
At the end of the selection process, the blue berets were ceremoniously presented to the candidates who passed all the tests with high results. In addition, the order of the deputy minister of defense about their appointment to a new position was read out.
