At the Armed Forces academy republican stage of the national contest “Followers of Tomaris-2023” which was held among the women military personnel of the all force structures has finished. In this event winners were awarded ceremonially.
During the awarding ceremony deputy minister of defense on educational and ideological affairs Hamdam Karshiyev, head of the Committee on women and the family Ozoda Parpiboyeva mentioned about military women’s selfless work on defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity and peace life of people.
In this contest which was held in such task introducing team, cooking, military-medical training, shooting training, relay running to the point destination and swimming in free style for the 50-meter team of the Ministry of defense of Uzbekistan took I place. Ministry of internal affairs took II place and team of the National guard reached III place.
Contest winners who are contributing to the developing of the field were awarded with diploma, cash and commemorative presents. Particularly, in the nominations of “The most passionate military women’s team”, “The most exemplary military women’s team”, “The most active and initiative military women’s team” women military personnel of the State customs committee, State security service Border troops and Ministry of emergency situations were awarded worthy.
Concert program which was performed by the Armed Forces song and dance ensemble shared festive spirit to all.
