Winners and prize-winners of the championship-2023 on hand-to-hand combat among the military personnel which was held at the military unit situated in Chirchik garrison, were found out. According to the custom of championship which was held among the military personnel of the Ministry of defense of Uzbekistan and among the cadets of the higher military educational institutes competing has finished in 8 weight categories for group and individual primacy.
Nearly 250 attenders who tried for the victory presented interesting and uncompromising fights to the sport fans during three days. Competitions have established in -57, -62, -67, -73, -80, -88, -97, +97 kg weight categories and 24 military personnel reached golden, silver and bronze medals.
According to the member of organizing committee of championship lieutenant-colonel Davlat Vahobov, championship is being held since a long time and aimed to improve physical and battle training. Besides sportsmen were selected for the championship which will be held among the Championship of the Armed Force and international tournament as well, which will be held in November-December months in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
At the closing ceremony of the championship diploma, medals and commemorative gifts were presented ceremonially to the winners and prize-winners. According to the collective account South-Western special military district team reached this year cup of the championship.
