In Uzbekistan wide-scale reforms are being carried out to provide overall military women, to increase their role and to show their skills.
In order to create a healthy competitive environment among military women personnel working in the armed forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the State committee for family and women held the competition “Followers of Tomyris-2022” under the motto “Vatan mehri yuragimda” (Love of the Motherland in my heart). In contest the team of the Ministry of defense has achieved first place.
At the Armed Forces state museum awarding ceremony of contest was held festively and the winners were awarded in it. During event the deputy minister of defense, colonel Hamdam Karshiyev presented certificates of appreciation, valuable gifts to winners and also cash prizes which assigned by the State committee for family and women.
During the festive event Deputy Minister of Defense made speech and congratulated military women personnel, specially emphasized that these brave, charming, intelligent military women could demonstrate their patriotism like the legendary Tomyris.
