Nowadays the 688th anniversary of the birth of great commander and statesman Amir Temur is widely celebrated throughout Uzbekistan. In this regard, an international scientific-practical conference was organized at the Chirchik higher tank command-engineering school.
At this conference, which was held on topic “Contribution of great commander Amir Temur to the development of world and national military art”, representatives of the Amir Temur Charitable public fund, the State museum of the Timurids history, Timurid scientists, professor-teachers, young researchers, Uzbek and foreign cadets of the school, as well as, pupils of “Temurbeklar maktabi” in Fergana and “Jaloliddin Manguberdi” military academic lyceum in Urganch attended online.
During conference well-known scientists shared opinions and rich information about the unique martial art and tactics of the great commander, also their important role in the national army of Uzbekistan.
In addition, during the conference, mobile gallery of paintings from the period of Temurids and presentation of portraits of soldiers which were created by a group of artists of the State museum of the Timurids history and Union of artists, were organized.
Those who spoke at the conference emphasized particularly that the aim of this event consists of developing a strong fighting spirit and loyalty to military duty in military personnel by increasing patriotism, scientifically comprehensive in-depth study of the contribution to the development of the encouragement to carry out research on this, increase national pride and other high spiritual-moral qualities, as well as, applying the education of warriors in “Temur tuzuklari” (Temur’s rules) in the process of training modern Armed Forces military personnel.
At the end of the event, actors of the Turan state military theater presented a play based on Abdulla Oripov’s “Commander Amir Temur”.
