At the stadium “Istiklol” in Fergana military-patriotically festival under the motto “If we gather, we are the whole people, if we unite, we are Country!” was held.
During the event exhibitions of military equipment, weapons and higher educational institutions and cooperative forces were held. In the main part of the festival, “Leader and youth meeting” was organized with the participation of the deputy commander of the troops of the Eastern military district.
In this meeting attended command of the troops of the Eastern military district, the Fergana regional council of the Youth Union, and active youth of the region, took part. The speakers noted about the opportunities created for our youth today and their effective use, as well as the reforms in the national army of Uzbekistan, and listed the achievements of young military personnel as an example for the youth.
At the end of meeting many interesting questions were asked by youths. Detailed answers to the questions were given, and active participants were awarded with souvenirs from the district command. Also, cultural program which performed by the military orchestra added excitement to the event.
