Today on August 1, minister of defense of Uzbekistan, general-lieutenant Bakhodir Kurbanov received delegation which came with the official visit and led by the minister of defense of the South Korea Lee Jong-Sup.
First, official receiving guests ceremony was held in the participation of the guard of honor. The military band played the national anthems of both countries.
At a meeting on bilateral cooperation held at the Central office of the Ministry of defense, general-lieutenant Bakhodir Kurbanov welcomed head of the delegation on a visit to Uzbekistan, and emphasized that although far on geographical side, spiritual closeness, cultural relations and traditions connected both countries with each other.
In addition, minister of defense by mentioning achievements on the bilateral cooperation, emphasized also mutual friendly relations and union attitudes are stabling and rising up to the new strategical stage as well.
After the meeting delegation of Korea visited to the Armed Forces academy. Guests got acquainted with the work and infrastructure of the educational institute.
