At the dog biathlon field of the Chirchik higher tank command-engineering educational institution final stage of the Army biathlon competition “For the Cup of the minister of defense” was held among the troops of the Ministry of defense.
9 teams competed against each other in four conditions for the victory in it. While 3200-meter running, teams showed their sniping skills in the condition of shooting a total of 15 bullets at a distance of 25 meters by lying down and standing, also participants tested their skills of quick and accurate targeting in the condition of throwing a grenade from 40 meters and a knife from 7-meter distance.
Certainly, where there is a competition, there will be a penalty as well. Penalty for each wrong target — 100 meters run. This prompted the participants to be more careful and rapid, causing the competition to be full of heated debates.
According to the final results, Troops for the protection of classified objects and Chirchik higher tank command-engineering educational institution teams took the 3rd place, and the team of Tashkent military district took the 2nd place. And the team of the South-Western special military district reached the honorable 1st place.
Furthermore, military personnel who recorded a high performance individually were also identified and recognized. Winners and prize-winners were ceremoniously awarded diplomas, trophies and commemorative gifts.
