Through our country Uzbekistan in the regard of 32nd anniversary of our Independence “Yangi nafas” (New breath) running marathon was held with the festive spirit.
Current marathon was held under the motto “In a Country, in a time, for a distance with a goal we will run together” in participation of our compatriots, a group of student-youths, amateur sportsmen, also volunteers of Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan as well.
In the “Yangi nafas” race marathon more than thousand attenders took part over Uzbekistan. Winners and prize-winners of different nominations on various tasks such as running to the 3 km and 10 km distance, were awarded with diploma, commemorative badges and cash awards.
Awarding ceremony was held festively in the “Milliy bog‘” (National park) complex which situated in Tashkent city, with the representatives of Uzbek estrade and military orchestra’s performances.
This is for the fourth time I attended in the mass running competition, — said military personnel of the Ministry of defense of Uzbekistan Hurshid Rakhimboyev. — Last year I have entered to the top ten, and this year I’m in the strongest five. Next time I will try to reach more better results than today’s.
