As part of the “Youth Month” a number of sports competitions and contests aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle among the future owners are held across the country.
On May 25, the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Sports, in cooperation with the Agency for Youth Affairs, on the occasion of “Youth Day” which is celebrated on May 30, launched the competitions of the Minister of Defense Cup in “National wrestling and stone-lifting”.
In order to attract the young generation to physical culture and sports, the first stage of the competition was held in the “Yuldashabad” mahalla of Kushtepa district in Fergana region yesterday. Young people from 18 to 30 years old participated in the competition.
It can be seen from the mentality of the participants that the sports competitions, which took place in four weight categories, were truly uncompromising and intense. It was not easy to determine the winners of the national wrestling and stone-lifting among the young people of the neighborhood who are healthy and full of strength.
At the end of a long and interesting debate, the winners of the competition were determined and allowed to the next higher level of the competition.
