On the eve of the V International Tashkent Marathon and “Yangi nafas” (New breathe) running marathon which will be held in 14 regions of Uzbekistan at the same time, participations with the responsible personnel of the Ministry of youths politics and sport, Ministry of higher education, Ministry of defense, Ministry of science and innovations, Federation of light athletics press conference was held.
For information, marathon Tashkent marathon was inserted into the calendar of the World athletics international competitions. Adaptation format of this mass running competition gives an opportunity to gather all kind of aged citizens. During the project throughout cities and town of Uzbekistan different competitions, marathons and sport events will be held. Participants who showed best results will be awarded valuable and commemorative gifts and prizes.
For the marathons which will be held in the regions 250 judges of the Light athletics federation and more than 300 voluntaries will be drown into assessing process.
Sport activity “Yangi nafas” will be held under the motto “Bir Vatanda, bir vaqtda, bir masofaga, bir maqsadda, birga yuguramiz” (In a country, in a time, for a distance, we will run together), it’s planned that 75 thousand participants will attend in it. According to the personnel of the Ministry of higher education and Ministry of science and innovations, 25 thousand students will also attend in race from 57 higher education institutes of our country.
In addition, at the press conference given information that on the eve of the V International Tashkent Marathon which will be held on March 12, at the “Pakhtakor” stadium projects which gathered generation that support healthy lifestyle “Kids run” children’s long-distance marathon and Scandinavian walking competitions also will be held.
