A solemn ceremony was held on the occasion of the establishment of the military unit

In one of the military units of the Ministry of Defense located in our capital city of Tashkent, a solemn ceremony was held on the occasion of the day of establishment of the unit.

The leadership of the Ministry of Defense, veterans of the Armed Forces, and military personnel participated in the event, where the important role of the military unit in the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan, its history, combat path, and the contribution of personnel to the state’s defense capabilities were discussed.

The Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Major General Shukhrat Kholmukhamedov, congratulating the gathering on the 90th anniversary of the military unit, acknowledged that the tasks assigned to them by the military personnel are being fully fulfilled and that the achievements achieved so far are an example for everyone. As mentioned, the military unit has been awarded the title of “The Most Advanced Unit” three times, dozens of servicemen have been awarded state awards for their exemplary service and achievements in combat activities, several of them were awarded “The Most Advanced Unit” at the international competition “Cambria Patrol”, took an active part in “The Most Advanced Specialist” and other prestigious competitions held at the level of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan, and was among the winners and prize-winners.

At the solemn event, by the orders of the Minister of Defense and the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, a group of military personnel was duly awarded. Veterans of the Armed Forces and other guests also spoke at the ceremony. They expressed their sincere wishes to the personnel of the military unit, which continues the achievements and military traditions of the past years.

In turn, military personnel handed over holiday gifts to teachers – veterans of the Armed Forces. The event dedicated to the anniversary continued with the songs of the Armed Forces Central Song and Dance Ensemble over a cup of tea.
