The Uzbek military has successfully started two stages of the International Army games

Today, on August 13, the “Tank Biathlon” competition of the VIII International Army Games was started at the “Alabino” training field located in  Moscow region of the Russian Federation. In the single race of the first division of the competition, the tankers of Uzbekistan competed with the first crew members of the teams of Vietnam, Venezuela and Kazakhstan.

In the competition the Uzbek soldiers marched in red tanks, the Vietnamese in blue, the Venezuelan team in yellow, and the Kazakhs in green. Our 1st crew consisting of tank commander senior lieutenant Shahzod Mamadiyorov, gunner junior sergeant Islam Sobirov and mechanic-driver senior sergeant Karimjon Urinov competed with these teams.

According to the single race condition of the competition, the crew members of the T-72B3 tanks passed through various obstacles and destroyed the designated targets. Thus, according to the final results of the “Tank Biathlon” competition, which is the most attractive and interesting direction of the International Army Games, the Uzbek tank crew reached the finish line in 25 minutes and 18 seconds. The Kazakh team crossed the finish line in 25 minutes and 57 seconds, while the Vietnamese team crossed the finish line in 34 minutes and 53 seconds, and  the Venezuelan team recorded the result in 47 minutes and 05 seconds.

For information, a total of 10 teams are fighting for the first place in the first division, where our representatives are active, they are: Azerbaijan, Belarus, Vietnam, Venezuela, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia and the Russian Federation. The next matches with the participation of our compatriots are planned to be held on August 16 and August 20.

In addition, today, the first stage of the “Field Kitchen” course, that is, the “Fire Training” competition, came to an end at the “Forish” mountain training field of the Central Military District.

5 teams of military chefs from Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Russia, Belarus and Vietnam took part in it. According to the conditions of the “shooting preparation” competition, 6 representatives from each team participated and shot 10 times at targets at a distance of 100 meters.

At the end of this stage of the competition, the following results were recorded in the overall team account:

  1. Uzbekistan — 92.8 points;
  2. Vietnam — 83.5 points;
  3. Russia – 72.2 points;
  4. Belarus — 71.5 points;
  5. Tajikistan — 62.0 points.
