In accordance with the work plan of the Committee on Defense and Security of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the first half of 2022, a meeting was held at the central office of the Ministry of Defense.
At the meeting, the participants were informed about the work done in the Eastern Military District to improve the combat readiness and preparedness of the troops, the results achieved and the issues to be solved in this direction. During the meeting, the deputy commanders of the Eastern Military District and the staff of the military prosecutor’s office also briefed on current issues in the field of defense and security.
Later at the meeting, the Deputy Minister of Defense, Colonel Hamdam Karshiev and other officials made proposals and recommendations on the work to be done and the measures to be taken to further improve the combat readiness of the troops and the development of the training material base in accordance with the requirements of the legislation.
At the end of the meeting, the relevant decision of the committee was made on the issues on the agenda and discussions.
