A symbolic foundation stone was laid for the construction of the magnificent Jaloliddin Manguberdi School in Urgench in order to educate the younger generation in the spirit of military patriotism, to acquaint them with the military and to prepare them spiritually and physically for the honorable profession of defender of the country.
The event was attended by the governor of Khorezm region – head of the military-administrative sector Farhod Ermanov, representatives of the district administration and the Recruitment Department, as well as other officials.
This educational institution is designed for 300 places and it admits 150 students each year starting from the 2023-2024 academic year.
It should be noted that taking into account the growing interest among young people in the military and the honorable profession of Defender of the country, about 30 billion sum has been allocated from the local budget for the construction of this institution.
It is planned to build a 4-storey educational building, a dormitory for 300 people, a mess hall, a palace of recreation, training fields for military activities, a sport complex and other necessary social and educational facilities. According to the approved design estimates, the construction process initiated by the private enterprise “Chinobod Qurilish” will be carried out on the basis of world standards, in accordance with the requirements of strict norms.
